Milos Manic - Percussion Solo at Synagogue of Voehl

It starts almost ascetic after the break: drummer Milos Manic owns the stage just for himself, but then only a reduced drumset in front of himself – a consequence of the pure acoustic concert. Therefore, concentrated listening is the order of the moment just from the beginning of his first finger-movements, so gentle are the fingers scratching across the drum head. In comparison to that, the castanettes seem to sound obviously louder. The next wave is formed by the bulky rhythm-stick, in the end the drummer does not only play on everything built up in front of him, his whole body becomes an instrument of rhythm.
