Feabrik - About
Feabrik
We are the group of multimedia artists which exist since 2003. Feabrik is creating experimental-ambient music and also making visualization for music. Our music best fits for movies, theatres, web presentations, advertisements and all visual medias that may have musical background. We create music by improvising and it represents authentic blend of acoustic sound of Celtic harp, drums and voice with synthetic timbre of keyboard.
We enjoy challenges and dedicate ourselves to expanding horizons of new media. Feabrik is working in Belgrade even the most of members are not from Belgrade. We are always open and ready for all kinds of suggestions and cooperation.
Short history of Feabrik:
Feabrik is formed in 2003. under impressions of workshops of Papa Nik.
First members of the group were: Boris Radivojkov (keyboard), Milos Manic (percussions) and Vladimir Isailovic (bass guitar).
In early days group was only creating music with percussions, alternative percussions and alternative electronic instruments through experimenting with sound in terms of music and machine (technology). That music was mostly improvisation and session. It was kind of improvised experimental-industrial music.
First name of the group was "Fabrik" came out from word "Fabrika" (Factory) – that stands for creating music from all kinds of different technologies.
Later, name becomes "Feabrik" with meaning of relationship between technology and humanity in context of Jing-Jang. In that moment Feabrik changed music style into ethno-ambiental.
